Amina Zidane is a junior Biomedical Engineering student at Boston University. Her artwork depicts the struggles that women face, particularly in their relationships and view of intimacy. Having grown up in Algeria, a very conservative country, she uses artwork as a therapeutic process to work through these issues. Her images often come out of a spontaneous process, and are expressive and sometimes fully abstract, using color to convey emotion.
