Our Latest Issue:
PULSE
Our Spring 2026 Issue, Pulse, explores the rhythms that move us through our daily lives, shaping our bodies, our minds, and our environments. Rather than offering a single definition, this issue invites multiple interpretations. A pulse can be steady or irregular, subtle or loud, personal or collective. It can be found in the repetition of routine, the movement of a crowd, the persistence of memory, or the tension between stillness and motion.

Our Spring 2026 Issue, Pulse, was brought to life as an exhibition from April 25 to May 1, 2026. This temporary show was held at Boston University’s Office for the Arts at 775 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA. On Saturday, April 25th, we held our launch party and opening reception, and were thrilled by its success.
At the exhibition, visitors encountered an even wider range of practices, highlighting our growing number of interdisciplinary submissions. Nineteen artists, thirteen writers, and five graphic designers from across Boston University contributed work, collectively shaping an issue we could not be prouder of. Across writing and visual media, contributors explore moments of transition, observation, and change. Some pieces capture the pace of everyday life, while others slow time down. Together, these works consider how rhythm shapes experience—how we move through spaces, relationships, and emotions, and how those movements leave traces behind. In this way, Pulse is not only about movement, but also about attention and nuance.
It is with immense joy that we present a selection of photographs (coming soon) from the exhibition, offering a glimpse into the space, the work, and the community that brought Pulse to life.
